Each year, the Farmer School of Business sends a questionnaire to all members of its most recent graduating class. From their responses we glean important information about what they are doing, how they are doing, and what aspects of their undergraduate experience they found most—and least—helpful.
We use these data in two ways: first, as an evaluation tool to help us in our process of continuous improvement; and second, to describe the early career choices our recent graduates made and to give an indication of the geographic regions, industries, and even companies in which they are employed. Prospective students and their families ask for this kind of information, along with salary estimates provided by our grads, to assess the job market for business majors.
