Founded in April 2006 as the "Center for Governance, Risk Management, and Reporting", the center changed its name to the "Center for Business Excellence" in 2008 to better reflect the center's growing goals and initiatives. The center plans to continue to increase its reach over the next several years as it rolls out its many initiatives and programs.
