Past Executive Conferences

The Center for Business Excellence hosted the 1st and 2nd Annual Executive Conferences on Governance, Risk Management, and Reporting on spring 2006 and 2007 at the Marcum Center in Oxford, Ohio. The Conferences have co-sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers both years; Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease LLP in 2006; and American Electric Power, Huntington Bank, with additional support by Cintas, in 2007.The purpose of this annual Conference has been to help attendees better understand the crucial role of senior leadership and corporate governance in developing an integrative approach to corporate governance, risk management, and business reporting.

Each Executive Conference features a Keynote speaker. In 2007, Retired Congressman and current Non-Executive Chairman of NASDAQ, Michael Oxley, was the Keynote Speaker. In 2006, COSO Chairman and Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Larry Rittenberg, was the Keynote Speaker.
