Welcome to the Page Center for Entrepreneurial Studies
The Page Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, one of four centers of the Miami Institute for Entrepreneurship, focuses on curriculum and research. Catering to both business and non-business students, the center emphasizes action learning involving a feedback loop where students learn, do, reflect, and grow. To develop students’ entrepreneurial mindset, the center encourages students to start thinking and acting like entrepreneurs and provides students with a range of opportunities and experiences associated with entrepreneurship in many contexts. Practicum opportunities include projects through which students, individually and in teams, have the opportunity to apply course content and test their entrepreneurial acumen. In an innovative classroom setting, students create team and independent study projects, become involved in the design, development, and execution of scalable businesses, and study the global aspects of entrepreneurship.
The Page Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is focused on jump-starting the pursuit of students’ entrepreneurial aspirations. Students develop their individual entrepreneurial outlook through innovative classroom experiences, study alongside business-practicing faculty, and interaction with successful business owners in project, mentor, and internship settings.
Founded in 1994, the Page Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is one of only two undergraduate entrepreneurship programs in the country that is both ranked in the top 20 by Entrepreneur magazine and is part of a BusinessWeek top 20 public undergraduate business school.
