Miami Entrepreneurs mission is to encourage students to think and act like entrepreneurs. Students experience entrepreneurship through building start-up businesses, writing business plans, and implementing new ideas. The club brings in influential speakers and alumni who work with the students in their development of new entrepreneurial ventures and ideas. All majors are welcome.

The Miami University Student Venture Fund (MUSVF) is an organization of students dedicated to funding student and alumni start-up ventures. The Altman Internship Program gives entrepreneurship students the opportunity to intern with a start-up or entrepreneurial business in cities including Chicago, Washington DC, Cincinnati, and Columbus. This summer internship program has been designed specifically for Miami entrepreneurship students and is made possible through the generous financial support of Miami alumnus John W. Altman (’60).

A partnership with an internationally-renowned social entrepreneurial organization allows students to work with an innovative development model recently featured in New York Times, CNN and Forbes. Students spend 4- or 8-weeks in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, or South Africa working on-the-ground in Base of the Pyramid markets.
