The next business leader in the Farmer School’s Executive Speaker Series will advocate taking take the long view in these uncertain times.

Brian M. Ambrose, global vice chairman and vice chairman, strategy and international for KPMG LLP, will speak on “Thinking Beyond: the accounting profession and turbulent times.” His presentation will take place at 4 p.m. April 8 in Room 102, Benton Hall.

Since joining KPMG in 1977, Ambrose has served in a variety of positions within the accounting firm, including that of national industry director for the automotive segment of the firm’s global manufacturers practice. International automotive companies, however, comprise only part of his portfolio of global clients: he has extensive experience serving multi-national manufacturing companies in such diverse industries as electronics, railroads, engineering, and personal care.

Ambrose earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

The lecture is open to the public and admission is free of charge.
