Accountancy Internship Information and Application Form

New! Beginning summer 2009, students may now earn one hour of credit for internships by enrolling in ACC330W. If you have a summer internship and are interested in earning academic credit, please read the following documents carefully, as they outline the process of enrolling and the requirements for earning credit.

ACC330W Checklist ACC330W Process ACC330W Registration Form

To be eligible to register for ACC 330 or ACC330W - Professional Practice you must:

  1. Have a bona fide accounting job
  2. Meet the requirements listed on the internship application form
  3. Complete the application form(s)*
  4. Return the completed form(s) and supporting materials to the appropriate faculty member

Information must be returned by: Monday, December 1, 2008, for a winter internship or Wednesday, April 15, 2009, for a summer internship. Questions regarding either ACC330 or ACC330W for summer 2009 should be directed to Ms. Kathy Kennedy at kennedkl@muohio.edu.

Special note for international students: International students with summer internships must obtain work authorization from the Office of International Education and must enroll in a course (the zero-credit hour ACC330 is fine). Please click here for further information about the process.

Please note: If you want to be registered for ACC 330, return the completed form(s) and supporting materials by the above-mentioned dates. You may not register for ACC 330 except through the coordinator of accounting internships.

*ACC 330 Internship Application Forms are available on the Accountancy Majors Blackboard site.
