Welcome to the Department of Decision Sciences (DSC) and Management Information Systems (MIS) website. Our programs place an emphasis on state-of-the-art computing and IT skills. Every year our graduates are actively recruited for career opportunities at very competitive salaries. We offer a high-quality bachelor’s degree program in MIS. We also provide minors in both DSC and MIS that complement and enhance other majors. We offer four thematic sequences for Miami students. The DSC thematic sequence “Applied Business Statistics” may be taken by business students and is an exception to the “outside the school” rule. We are very proud of our programs and continuously try to improve them to make our graduates more competitive in the future job market.
