Highest Ranked Part Time MBA in Cincinnati!
Miami University's Farmer School of Business was the highest ranked part time MBA program in Southwest Ohio, according to US News & World Report rankings for "Best Graduate Schools". The program is in its third year and eligible for the first time. The program is taught at Miami's Voice of America Learning Center in West Chester.
Miami MBA Students Win Division at Molson Case Competition
The Miami University fulltime MBA program sent a team of four students to the John Molson Case Competition Jan. 4-9 to compete against 36 other squads from MBA programs around the world. Miami’s Ben Berk, Justin Peters, Hari Srinivasan and Andrew Zwicker won their division to advance to the semi-final round, the only U.S. team to do so in 2012 and first-ever from the Farmer School of Business.
The Full-Time MBA Class of 2011 begins work on Global Consultancies in the final semester of their 14 month MBA program
The MBA class of 2011 leaves for Global Consultancies overseas. Teams of MBA students will work in a variety of locations to experience international business customs and real-world international business problems. MBA Teams will depart soon for Xiamen, China; Souzhou China; Shanghai, China; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Brussels, Belgium; Frankfurt, Germany; and Guapila, Costa Rica. MBA Students excel at Illinois Case Competition, Earning Second Place as a Team and the Top Speaker Award
Miami University MBA Students from the Farmer School of Business competed February 10th through 12th in a business strategy case competition in Illinois. The Miami University team which included Prnuv Sharma, Mario Kolar, Bharath Seshadri, and Steve Thieme competed with teams from 11 other business schools to win 2nd Place beating out schools such as The Ohio State University, University of Michigan, and Purdue University. Prnuv Sharma also won the award for "Best Presenter" in both rounds of the competition.
MBA Students benefit from small, personal classes
The Farmer School recently welcomed new MBA classes at its full-time program in Oxford and at its professional program (PMBA) at the Voice of America campus in West Chester. The two programs have grown more selective in their admissions this year, yielding stronger but very different student bodies. Read more
