Message from the Dean

Of all the exciting developments taking place within the Farmer School of Business, none has greater potential to transform our students’ perspectives than the expansion of our study-abroad programs. Thanks to Dr. David Yen’s leadership, our exchange relationships with high-caliber Chinese universities are multiplying, and increasing numbers of our students are taking advantage of these valuable opportunities.

We are also very happy to welcome students from China who choose to study at Miami for one year or more. Their presence here brings a rich diversity of ideas and experiences to our classrooms, our campus, and our community.

My most sincere thanks go to Dr. Yen for his enthusiasm and his tireless efforts to enhance our China programs, which connect us with prominent academic and business leaders in the Pacific Rim. I am also grateful for our alumni and other friends in China whose interest and support helps make these programs possible.
