Minor in Arts Management

Open to business majors and fine arts majors only.

Increased public interest and support for the Arts has created a need for business professionals who are prepared for management responsibilities in arts councils, museums, art centers, galleries, orchestras and theatres. The minor has two options: one for business majors and one for fine arts majors. All students complete the Core Requirements:

A 2.00 minimum average is required for all courses that apply to the requirements for this minor, and all courses must be taken for a grade.

This minor is interdisciplinary and automatically meets the Thematic Sequence requirement. Fine Arts majors choosing ESP 1 thematic sequence option are asked to declare the ESP1 thematic sequence before beginning those courses.
