Force-adds may only take place during scheduled force-add periods; exceptions are granted by the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs.
With the exception of the Economics Department, the business departments will all be using the same form and timeline for force-adding classes.
ACCOUNTANCY - Accountancy faculty members are not authorized to force-add students to their courses. Students should not submit force-add requests for section changes. Students should arrange accountancy course section “swaps” with other students via the SWAP list inside 310 LWS.
DECISION SCIENCES AND MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS – Decision science and management information systems faculty members are not authorized to add students to their courses. Students should not submit force-add requests for section changes. Students should arrange section “swaps” with other students via the SWAP board outside of 311 UPH.
ECONOMICS – Mr. Jerry Miller will meet with students desiring to force-add economics classes in his office (219A LWS) during the following hours: Monday, August 25, 11:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m. Students need to read the force-add procedures that will be posted outside 208 LWS. (It will not be necessary to complete School of Business Force-Add Request form.)
FINANCE - A “swap” list is being maintained outside the department office (120 UPH). To check force-add status and accept section via the WWW, go to: www.fsb.muohio.edu/finance/
MANAGEMENT - Management faculty are not authorized to force-add students to their courses. The management department does not process section swaps; if you already have a section of a course, it must be dropped before submitting a force-add request. MARKETING - It is expected that requests from only the following students will be accommodated:
