Whether you are just beginning your career exploration or seeking guidance on competing effectively for internships or full-time positions, you have an important resource on the Farmer School staff. Sharon L. Attaway, Director of Professional Development, is dedicated to offering guidance throughout your career discernment and planning process, and helping you connect with employers.

As a Farmer School student, you have many resources to help you launch your career development plan.The school provides opportunities for you to connect with employers who are actively recruiting on campus, or who visit to speak to classes and participate in class-based activities.

We strongly encourage you to participate in events such as Career Fair and Spring ICE as a starting point. These events help you polish your resume and hone your interpersonal skills. In addition to these foundational experiences, you can build on relationships with company representatives through formal and informal networking events and informational sessions hosted by businesses and organizations.
