Executive Speaker Series

This Speaker Series brings key leaders to campus and provides an engaging atmosphere in which they can reflect on their experiences. As a result, students and faculty members gain insights about how these executives think, manage and inspire. Recent speakers have been given by: Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman and CEO of General Electric (GE), Brad Alford, President and CEO of Nestle Brands Company, and John Faraci, Chairman and CEO of International Paper.

Anderson Distinguished Lecture Series

The purpose of this Lecture Series is to expose students and faculty to opinion leaders whose ideas will impact business and society. These leaders have developed a national reputation for expertise related to the subject matter of their presentation. Recent Lectures have been given by: General Colin Powell, for chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Gary Becker, Nobel Laureate in Economic Science and Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago; John Major, former British Prime Minister; Rudolph Giuliani, former mayor of New York City; Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the Soviet Union; and Sandra Day O'Connor, former Supreme Court justice.

US Bancorp Distinguished Lecture Series

The purpose of this Lecture Series is to bring distinguished lecturers to the School of Business . Recent lecturers have been given by: Buck Rodgers, former Vice President of IBM, John Walter, former Chairman of AT&T, Herman Cain, Chairman of Godfather's Pizza, and Congressman Michael Oxley.
