Meet the Business Organizations Night This bi-annual event held at the beginning of each semester hosted by B.S.A.C. in conjunction with all other business school organizations. It is an open house for students where organizations can set up tables to promote their organizations, recruit, and hand out informative pamphlets, etc. This is a great opportunity for students of the business school to learn how to get involved and make a difference. |
Business School Rundown This is an annual fall event that allows B.S.A.C. members to meet with Pre-Business students to discuss requirements for entry into the Farmer School of Business while encouraging involvement within business organizations. |
Women in Leadership Luncheon Once a semester, women leaders on campus are invited to a lunch with a notable female leader from the business world. The intimate setting provides an opportunity to discuss careers paths for females and hear the keynote speaker’s advice on balance work with family life. |
B.S.A.C. Recruitment Recruitment for the Business Student Advisory Council takes place in the beginning of both first and second semester. B.S.A.C. will be looking to reach out to a diverse group of talented student leaders. For more information about BSAC or the application process, please see Michelle Thomas in FSB 1022. |
Dean’s Letter & Alumni Profiles A bi-annual letter from Interim Dean Gorman is sent to parents of sophomore Pre-Business students encouraging participation within organizations and determining a career path. Included with each letter is a profile of a prominent alumnus. |
The High Street Journal This online student publication highlights articles that reach out to the business student population. B.S.A.C members have the opportunity to be published in the High Street Journal. |
Senior Send-Off This annual B.S.A.C. event is held at the end of school year as an end-of-year celebration for outstanding seniors in business organizations. The celebration is typically held in the Marcum conference center with a celebratory dinner for the students and their favorite professors. The event is capped off with a guest speaker at the end of the evening. This event has proven to be a great success for B.S.A.C. and is one all members look forward to at the end of the year! |
Executive Speaker Series Ushering Members have the opportunity to usher for the business school’s Executive Speaker Series. Along with helping assist in seating and making sure the talk goes off without problems, members often have the opportunity to meet the speakers and ask any questions they may have personally. |
Farmer Week In an effort to create a lasting annual tradition for the Farmer School of Business, BSAC and Interim Dean Gorman team with the business organizations on campus to execute Farmer Week. This week consists of guest lectures, seminars and fundraising events geared toward building a memorable tradition for Farmer School of Business students and alumni. |

Y.P.A.C. Mentorship Program Members of B.S.A.C have the opportunity to be paired with a full-time business professional to help develop their business career.
