Program Requirements
In this self-designed program, you choose the activities you participate in to fulfill each area of the program. There are a set of guidelines for each of the areas to provide direction. In order to complete the Buck Rodgers Leadership Program, you must:
Complete the following hours across the five areas as follows:
- Personal Leadership: 15 hours
- Group & Organizational Leadership: 2-5 activities
- Civic Leadership: 15 hours
- Communication: 15 hours
- Diversity
Other requirements:
- Participate at least one full year in the Mentor Program.
- Provide a reflection of your participation in program-related activities no later than two weeks after attending the activity.
- Meet with the program director at least once each semester.
- Attend a minimum of two speakers/workshops provided by the Buck Rodgers Program.
- Attend one organizational meeting a semester with the Buck Rodgers Program.
- Make a final presentation after completing the requirements of the program. This can be done on an individual basis or in a group setting.
