Civic Leadership

Serving the community provides a way to return to society what society has given to us. Participation in service projects creates an awareness of the needs of others and enables us to explore larger issues. It also offers another context in which to practice leadership skills.

Possible activities include:

• Participating in service-learning classes
• Serving as a volunteer at a retirement home or in community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity or Junior Achievement or at our Adopt-a-School located in Hamilton, Ohio.
