Why a semester abroad?

key role in world markets. The China Programs semester exchanges are unique in that students enroll directly with a partner univerisity of choice. This gives students more academic choices and naturally fosters independence. The program is targeted to Junior Business majors and is an ideal choice because of the numerous advanced business couses offered at the partner universities.
Immersion in Chinese culture for a semester allows you to acquire new or
improved language skills that will give you a decided edge in career
opportunities. You will add a much-desired international component to
your resume, develop independence and maturity, and open your mind to
other cultures and perspectives on the world.
The Farmer School maintains China Semester Exchange Agreements with:
- Peking University in Beijing, the most prestigious university in China, and one of the top 10 universities in the world. The Guanghua School of Management at PKU offers advanced business classes and business Chinese. Beijing also has rich cultural offerings on and off campus. Students can study in the spring term.
- Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai, the largest business school in China. Students can take a variety of business classes and intensive Chinese language. Shanghai is the commercial center of China. Students can study in the Spring term.
- Chinese University of Hong Kong. Here, for bargain rates, our students live in the international dorm that provides breath-taking views of the bay. Students may choose to study in Hong Kong in the fall or spring term. CUHK is an world reknown, bilingual university.
