  • Locations: Dalian, Shanghai, Beijing, Xian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.

  • Application Date: Monday, October 4, 2010.  Apply at: www.studyabroad.muohio.edu/, search for FSB China.
  • Costs: Projected tuition and fees paid to Miami are subject to change.
    • Program fee in 2011: $5,500.00 Subject to change. Covers airfare, all intra-country transportation, many meals, all housing, entrance fees, etc.
    • Tuition amounts in 2011: In-state $3,9642.40 Out-of-state $6,430.00. Subject to change. NOTE: Out of state tuition has been reduced for all FSB Summer Study Abroad programs.
  • Participants: Limited to 26 students.
  • Prerequisites: Junior standing (58+ hours by May 2011) and a 2.60 GPA (by January 2011).

    NO STUDENT MAY PARTICIPATE IN A FARMER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS SUMMER WORKSHOP WHILE ON DISCIPLINARY PROBATION

  • Pre-departure meetings: Attendance is mandatory attendance. Topics address cultural, historic, and economic topics as well as travel tips. Meeting times  will be on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30.  Location TBA.
  • Scholarships: Farmer School of Business scholarships are available to help with the tuition cost for those who show need.  Apply on application page.
