Visit exotic Costa Rica, where the focus is on environmental sustainability, conservation and economic development,  Costa Rica Contains many diverse ecosystems all within a small area.  Understanding of the ecology is as important as an understanding of the business aspects for successful sustainable development.  This program fully integrates the two disciplines.  The focus of this program is on experiential learning, so we will travel extensively.  The schedule includes many multi-day field trips to cultural and recreational sites. You can explore volcanoes and hot springs and go rafting; view the rain forest from zip lines and observe monkeys, frogs, and other rain forest fauna from the forest floor.

This workshop is unique in that it provides students with two-thirds of a self-designed thematic sequence (which is sponsored by Latin American Studies outside the School of Business). One course (chosen from a list), taken before or after the program, is added to the six hours earned during the trip.   No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary.
