ITINERARY & SITE INFORMATION

The program begins in France, where we are hosted by Audencia Ecole de Management (Business School of Management). Their faculty will teach BUS 373 in conjunction with a Miami University business professor. Students will stay with host families who have received exceptional reviews from former participants. Nantes is a town of 245,000 with wonderful shopping and amazing restaurants (as one would expect in France). It also has a river running through it, where students have rented boats for an afternoon on the river. The size of the town and the welcoming and generous program offered by Audencia and the families make “living in France and Europe” for three weeks a truly unique opportunity for students.

Next the group moves east where the European Union is expanding. The Czech Republic offers something for everyone. The pulsing capital, Prague, is never a disappointment. For students, Prague is a favorite or on their must-see list of European cities. Within the first hour you’ll be impressed by the stunning architecture, the beautiful views, and quaint alleys packed with cafes and shops. Just walking the streets and observing the facades is exhilarating. The group is hosted by CMC Graduate School of Business.

Hungary will steal your heart. Each year students are surprised to learn that graceful Budapest turns out to be their favorite place, with its quaint cafes, relaxing thermal spas, and proud, but friendly people, who will encourage you to communicate in their hermetic language. Budapest has every luxury of Western Europe, overlaid with its unique history and cultural, at half the cost. Business visits are included and classes are held at the Central European University (CEU).The last two weeks are in London, where the program stays at Regent’s College in Regent’s Park. Regent's College was formerly part of London University and today is the home of the European Business School. Regent's Park is a 474 acre park only minutes from the historic and commercial center of London. Students stay in the dorm and eat in the dining hall. The city, with its rich heritage, is the foundation for many of our legal, managerial, and business practices.

The first two weeks the program will be hosted by Audencia School of Management in Nantes, France. Classes will be held on the Audencia campus, where there are also computer labs, a dining facility, and gym. Students stay with host families who provide breakfast and classic French dinners Sundays through Wednesdays.

While in Budapest and Prague the students and faculty will be housed in hotels and classes will be held at our host universities, Central European University (CEU) and CMC Graduate School of Business. City tours and business field trips are included.

The site for the London portion is Regent's College in Regent's Park. Students are housed in residence halls, eat in the dining hall, and use Regent's College classrooms and computer center. Room and limited board are included in the program costs described below. Because classes occur Monday through Thursday, only a limited food allowance is provided in the form of breakfast and dinner with the host family and a food debit card valued at around 40 pounds per week in London. The food card may be used at any time during the week in Regent's dining hall.
