Over Winter Break the Farmer School of Business will offer for the fifth year a two-week Asian study program. The schedule combines class meetings, company visits, guest lectures, and cultural tours. Seniors who have not studied abroad: here is a final opportunity!

Vietnam and Cambodia boast two of the fastest-growing economies in Asia. Once ravaged by war and poverty, these countries are now progressing and thriving at an amazing rate. As part of this study group, you will travel from the teeming metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City to Siemreap and Hong Kong. In Vietnam, you will explore local culture in the Mekong delta, visit global companies and experience a cultural exchange program with local university students.

In Cambodia, you will visit the world famous Angkor Wat Temples. These stunning structures feature some of the most beautiful examples of Khmer Kingdom and Hindu art. The temples and the whole city of Angkor have also been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your itinerary also includes exploration of water villages at Cambodia's Ton Le Sap lake, the largest fresh water lake in Asia. Group members will participate in a service learning experience at an orphanage.

Your last stop is three days in beautiful Hong Kong. We will explore contemporary business and financial issues of China and visit a U.S. firm, in addition to enjoying the sights around this international, sophisticated city.
