Freshman Admission

Entering freshmen who are admitted to and participate in the Farmer School Business Honors Program are afforded regular business standing upon initial enrollment.

Regular Admission

All other entering freshmen, admitted to the Farmer School with a "pre-business" designation, will advance to regular business status upon successful completion of all admission requirements:

• 60 or more earned semester hours.
• A 3.00 Miami grade point average on the combination of all common core of business and Miami Plan foundation courses.
• Successful completion of the following: ACC 221, ACC 222, DSC 205, ECO 201, ECO 202, MIS 235, MTH 151. At least 12 of these hours must have been earned at Miami University.

Transfer Admission from Another College or University

• 60 or more earned semester hours.
• A 3.00 cumulative grade point average.
• Successful completion of the equivalent of: ACC 221, ACC 222, DSC 205, ECO 201, ECO 202, MIS 235, and MTH 151.
