Basic Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Business

To graduate from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, one must:

  • Earn a minimum of 128 semester hours
  • Complete the Miami Plan, the common core of business courses, the communication requirement, the calculus requirement, and the required electives
  • Complete the requirements of one major field
  • Earn at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in all business courses attempted
  • Complete at least 64 semester hours of course work in non-business departments, including a thematic sequence outside the Farmer School
